Long Description
Every life has a story worth telling. The Throw Away Wife is the true story of an average couple who marries for a few of the right reasons and a lot of the wrong. Life seems normal and good for awhile until red flags begin appearing. As the family grows, so does the abuse, both intentional and not, thereby causing damage and emotional scars. Emotional dishonesty, pride, tragedy, depression and abuse play key roles in the slow but steady destruction of a seemingly normal family. After 20 years, numerous medications, and therapy, Jenna's mind clears and her eyes open. She recognizes a family in ruins. As she tries to set things right with her husband and five daughters, she finds that "fixing" people is not easy. Fixing a dysfunctional marriage is even harder. When her husband, Nelson refuses to hear her pleas, Jenna takes drastic measures. A brief affair with a man from her past finally opens his eyes, but her plan backfires. The therapy she wanted and he did not believe they needed, finally begins. For over two years the couple tries to put the pieces of a broken marriage back together.
