This is the story of a basically decent man who hid his true self from others all of his life. It began as a child hiding he was Jewish during the Holocaust period.

He began having vivid dreams where the struggle to drop his mask and reveal his true self competed for space with fantasies of revenge, the latter bringing a smile to his face.
