"Could it be that you like me, Rex?" Lyle teased.
He tried not to concentrate on the pulse at the young man's throat. Wyrekin, bright were blood... It was always hard, when you first rose at sundown. Shifter blood was brighter red, vivid, and so hot it seemed to sear on the way down before he knew it Lyle was in a reverie. His fangs pricked at his tongue, his eyes stared wildly at nothing.
"I need to tell you something." Rex made a noise in the back of his throat that was somewhere between a growl and a whine. His eyes flicked nervously over Lyle's face. "I can't work for you anymore."
Lyle shivered. Suddenly the bloodlust faded like he'd been dunked in icy water.
"Oh?" He thought about it for a second, and his eyes widened slightly, because all of a sudden he realized he wanted Rex to stay. When did I start caring if he stayed here? Lyle frowned at his earnest young face. "Is it money? I was thinking you deserved a raise anyway." He smiled hesitantly, too late realizing that it bared his fangs.
Rex shook his head, glancing in obvious fear before Lyle could close his mouth.
"Personal reasons," the dog-shifter managed to choke out.

ADULT SAMPLE:
His hands strained at the belt no longer because it hurt but because he wanted to reach down and stroke himself, relieve that fire building in him. Lyle's second finger slid easily inside of him, stretching him out further. The vampire stroked the flinching muscles of his back, ran a hand through the rough tangle of his hair. He continued to probe that dark and secret source of pleasure and Rex's whimpering turned to moans.
"Good boy." Lyle said again, and Rex could hear that he was pleased. That sent another hot flush across his prickling flesh. A droplet of pre surged from him and floated like a cobweb down to the carpet and his whole body was clenching now, and he knew he was on the edge just from those fingers invading him and Lyle's approval, without anything even touching his sex. His body rocked as he bucked backwards against Lyle's hand with growing desperation, feeling that deep seat of pleasure growing into a hot ripple.
