Nicoletta Lucci's Sense is triggered through yarn. She need merely touch yarn to experience the most intense moment in someone's life, seeing images, memories or premonitions of what may or has occurred to the last person who touched it.

Glimpses of joy, special events, or travel are wonderful, until she touches her dead aunt's wool sweater and sees her dark secret. It not only threatens what she knows of the aunt and uncle that raised her, but she no longer considers the Sense a blessing.

There's also no one to ask for help, as her uncle has warned her away from the Senser Societies. But when she sees a new image from yarn that could endanger her uncle's life, there's only one group she can turn tothe Radnor Secret Sensers Society.
