A Frank and open story of a women's courageous struggle to live with narcolepsy, Undiagnosed until adulthood, she not only survived but thrived and learned to both understand and live with the condition .It's a story of incredible resilience, determination and the indomitable spirit of not only a brave women but a mother blessed with the support of her loving family. Once full of energy and dreams of becoming an inventor, Corrina was only in the 4th grade when she began to battle with her own body to stay awake. As she fights to make it through finding ways to stay alert often leads her to trouble. She struggles to find herself in a body she no longer knew as herself. She meets a boy who she falls in love with, together they face loss and grief. Not being able to keep to keep up with daily tasks like everyone around her, she begins to fall into depression. After what she believes to be a calling from god she finally finds out that she has a chronic neurological sleep disorder called narcolepsy. As she continues her journey she becomes a young mother of 4 , still battling everyday judgments and the lack of knowledge on her condition she has to learn to accept herself and find her way to success.
