AQA, formerly the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance, is an awarding body in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. AQA GCSE Chinese (Spoken Mandarin) has a Foundation Tier (grades 15) and a Higher Tier (grades 49). Students must take all four question papers (listening, speaking, reading and writing) at the same tier. All question papers must be taken in the same series.
