I'm not aware of any historical study that describes an organization that survived a crisis. Every organization is led and led. However, a substantial majority of our educational institutions and training programs today are focused on producing competent managers rather than generating exceptional leaders. Short-term accomplishments are regarded as a sign of success, however the organization's long-term growth and viability is regarded as a bill payer. This book aims to change that paradigm.

I don't introduce any new leadership ideas or principles in this book. I have a much higher ambition. I want to make the world a better place for everyone. My objective is simple: I want to raise a new generation that understands that an organization's success or failure is determined by its leadership, not its management skills.

It is no coincidence that I use the US military, notably the US Marines, to demonstrate the significance of a leader who is focused on his people. Those organizations have strong cultures and shared values, recognize the value of cooperation, foster trust among people, retain focus, and, most significantly, recognize the value of teamwork. The importance of people and relationships contributes to the mission's success. These organizations are also in a situation where failure can have serious consequences. It is not an option to abandon the quest.

When you assemble with the Marines for a lunch, you'll see that the lesser ranks are served first, followed by the higher officers. When you observe this action, you will see that no orders are given. It was done by the Marines. The Marines' leadership style lies at the heart of this seemingly simple gesture. Leaders in the Marine Corps must eat last because the true cost of leadership is a willingness to put the needs of others ahead of their own. Great leaders genuinely care about who they have the right to lead, and they recognize that there is a real cost to pay for the privilege of leadership, which includes individual rights.

Management restrictions are insufficient to sustain any organization throughout time. My analysis of the aspects of human behavior demonstrates that there are actual executives who explain why certain firms can do well for a brief period of time but still fail in the end: Leaders The director has failed to create an environment in which the child is prioritized. As I've previously stated, organizing individuals who share beliefs and are appreciated will succeed in both good and bad times.
