Valentine's Day is coming, and Tilly is determined not to let it pass without a celebration this year! She's ready to let her hair down and enjoy a wild, romantic night with Elmer, even at the risk of a scandal. Of course, they can't get too wild in South Branch, the neighbors would talk, but what happens in St. Louis stays in St. Louis or is that Las Vegas? Never mind! They are out to break the rules of polite society and get seriously naughty together; what could go wrong?
As it turns out, a convergence of high libido and low sobriety leads to an incident as it often does! Nevertheless, Tilly and Elmer do succeed in getting out of St. Louis without spending time in jail, and, they come home with a Valentine's Day story they won't be telling their grandchildren any time soon.
