In this novel lovers try to rescue other lovers, a young couple, where the girl facing the most merciless torture women can ever face in the name of tradition, faithfulness, and family values. Our heroine would do anything to save her family's honour and respect, not willingly but as a necessity. Here come into the story her ex-fiancé and his friends, Joe and Katlin Bryan, the young, resourceful and wealthy newlywed couple, whose adventures, which started in the first of the Joe Bryan novels, are continuing in this one. From the small Canadian town of Parry Sound, with short stopovers in Europe and Africa, all the way to India. With this book my aim is not only to entertain, but to shed light on the horror, which even in the 21st century is real, life-threatening and torturous danger for hundreds of thousands of women, world-wide even in the richest countries.
