Tokyo Sodom

Shortly before the destruction of Tokyo by a devastating tsunami, the gorgeous media-manipulator Angeliko Slavsko flies into the city to perpetrate an outrageous series of sexual acts and provocations, the evidence of which is to be projected from every giant image-screen on Tokyo's illuminated avenues. Aided by a gang of ecstasy-crazed Tokyo girls, Angeliko cuts a sexual swathe through the city's subterranea, encountering and fucking a vast array of the city's freaks, apocalypse-cultists, shit-eaters, monks, far-right militarists and digital idols, before finally coming to grips with the leaders of Japan's all-powerful tech-conglomerates in a detonating climax of revolutionary sex and terminal urban disaster. In the direct lineage of extreme pornography/literature of the Marquis de Sade and Georges Bataille, and possessing the sheer narrative drive of Yukio Mishima's suicidal seppuku-trip to oblivion, Tokyo Sodom inaugurates a new kind of contemporary sex-writing. Tokyo Sodom is an erotic tour-de-force comparable to Bataille's Story of the Eye in its pornographic intensity, or JG Ballard's Crash in its futuristic fusion of sex and technology, but which accelerates away from both with its relentless, neon-fired ophidian thrust towards ecstatic annihilation. Tokyo Sodom is a carnal cataclysm, and perhaps the first truly original pornographic novel of the 21st century.
