Torry is a 12 year old boy who inherited a gene from an ancestor which makes him just love girls. Torry and his family are magically connected to the sea as are all of his friends. The students get to know each other and there are beach days, where they meet the mermaids and not much school work gets done. He spells his name with two R's and he will remind you of the spelling. This is a book of young adults living away from family and learning about their ancestry.
