True Faith

There is actually nothing mysterious or complex about faith. Faith is believing, faith is trusting, faith is having confidence, faith is relying on and submitting absolutely to something and taking a (faith) rest.
There's natural faith; and there's supernatural faith; the depths of which this book explores and presents. It is by natural faith that we relate with the physical and material things of this world; and by supernatural faith we relate with the unseen. It is by true supernatural faith that we related with (the unseen) God. Faith is the basis of every meaningful relationship. The Bible describes faith as, "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This means that we have no basis or assurance that what we are expecting from God will be realized without having believed Him. But we need tangible details on this, which this book, 'True Faith,' supplies.
The word 'true' in its root sense means genuine, legitimate or real. Its usage suggests the existence of counterfeit, and shadow. True faith literally therefore means genuine or real faith: (because) there are fakes or perversions of faith and shadow of faith. Every true thing, whatsoever, is only in and by the truth; therefore, true faith is only in and by the truth. True faith is believing in the truth; true faith is based on the truth; true faith came by the truth -- the Word of God; which is Christ (Romans 10:17; Galatians 3:23-25). Without true faith, the faith of God, which is faith in the truth of Christ, one cannot really overcome in this challenging, evil world, or be able to please God. Faith is actually our only force of real victory in this life. It is the only way we are given to live here in the kingdom.
Another perspective of it is Life in the Spirit. It is given and severally stated in the Holy Scriptures that "the just (born-again believers, children of God) shall live by faith (Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 10:17; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38). Faith is the lifestyle of the just. We live by faith: faith in God, by the truth of 'Jesus Christ and him crucified.' The author in this great book reveals to us by the Spirit that the life of true faith is, 'Living in the meditation of the whole truth of Jesus Christ and His Cross: and expressing it in our every word and conduct. This implies:
trusting and obeying the Gospel, the truth of Jesus Christ and him crucified, in all its aspects and variety, in all issues and circumstances;
trusting and doing (practicing) the word of Christ in all its aspects and variety, or trusting and walking in the truth in all its merits and implications.
