Turquoise Rebellion is flash fiction exploring the rebellious act of a seven year old boy and his love affair with a pair of his mother's shoes. There is nothing that sets him aside from his peers and without a badge of honour or distinguishing feature, he finds solace in a pair of turquoise mules buried at the bottom of his mother's wardrobe.
This is Andrew Medcraft's debut flash fiction work and marks the start of a highly anticipated and promising career of poignant and provocative fiction.
