Twin Flames: Awakening is the first volume in the Twin Flames trilogy. It is a story that explores the idea of the timeless nature of love that spans lifetimes. The novel takes place in the present day, and also in 1926. Matthew is a senior architectural student at Texas A&M University, and the star quarterback for the football team. On the surface, he appears to have everything: a gorgeous girlfriend, a supportive family, and a promising future. But, every night since he can remember, he has dreamt about a beautiful and mysterious girl. The vivid and detailed dreams take place in a time and city that he knows nothing about: Chicago, during Prohibition in the 1920's. Matthew's life takes an unexpected turn, as his dreams start to bleed over into his daily life with dramatic consequences. He realizes that the girl from his dreams is calling to him from another dimension, about the imminent danger she faces in 1926 Chicago.
