The book tells of a young adult boy, Chimere, who wakes up to find himself falling from the
sky. Confused about how this came to be, he thinks he's just dreaming, but later, he accepts the
fall is real, which meant he was about crashing to his death. However, a girl (Eniola) also falling
from the sky with him, strangely begs him to fly and save them both. He doesn't believe he can
fly, nonetheless, he unintentionally performs some actions that makes them survive the Skyfall.
He wakes up in a sick bay and is visited by three youngsters (Eniola and a twin boy & girl) who
later explain how he lost his memory after being shot with a memory-sealing serum during their
mission. Still cautious about the strange youngsters, he becomes even more afraid of them after
witnessing them exhibit superhuman abilities. But then, shockingly, he is told that he is the
leader of their organization, (L.O.A.D: League Of Alien Descendants) made up of over two
hundred youngsters from three different continents' base.
Although Chimere's memories were still sealed, as only the re-experiencing of his strongest
memory could unseal it, Eniola forces him to partake in their second mission to raid a Biotech
Facility. During this mission, Chimere engages his brainstorming ability in order to completely
wipe off his sealed memories, as he is frustrated about why he cared so much for Eniola, even
though she hated him. In order to distract him from wiping his memories, Eniola kisses him,
which unexpectedly triggers the unsealing of his memories. During the same mission, Eniola
and the twins find out about their still living six centuries-old Alien Ancestor, but for some
reason, they chose to keep it a secret from Chimere.
