Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a Declaration adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 10, 1950, in which the basic rights and duties of people are recognized. It has been the source of inspiration for the European Convention on Human Rights and the American Convention on Human Rights, as well as the international covenants on human rights.
