"Unneutral Murder" by Hulbert Footner is a crime notvel that follows criminologist Lee Mappin and his assistant as they travel to Portugal during WWII to distribute a new secret code for the Allies and to help on the Underground Railroad that smuggled Germans out of Nazi Germany and away from the country's dictatorship. However, spies everywhere and a murder that hits very close to home cause Mappin to test his poker face as he attempts to be neutral about all the ordeals around him.
