The last thread of Michael's faith has been destroyed.
Michael isolates himself, unable to move forward in his grief. He can not imagine a future after everything that has been lost, and he struggles to reconcile the enormous evil he has witnessed, with the God he grew up believing.
But the friends and family around him, will not let him struggle alone. Offered hope, justice, and an opportunity, Michael has a chance to forge a new purpose in life, though it will come with constant reminders of his ever-growing grief. Or, he can abandon the people he cares about, and a world that needs to know the reality he has witnessed, to live with the consequences of a life that is empty of hope and meaningless.
