Stella and Nomsa had been friends sine childhood days but Stella's sister does not trust Nomsa for whatever reason. by then Stella and her friend were living with Stella's sister, Boniswa and Jose her husband. he offered to pay the girls' tuition but Nomsa was not interested. All that she wanted was to have a husband and babies. Stella chose to go to university with the intention of becoming an attorney encouraged by both her sister and her husband.
Stella soon found out how unhinged dome students were. she was not aware that someone was looking out for her until a bunch of campus hooligans tried to molest her. all those boys required medical attention. then it came to light that the chancellor of the university had specific instructions from Jose about Stella's safety.
Stella became friends with Sonja and some nasty minded students began claiming that Stella was a lesbian. however, both Sonja and Stella did not care much for such malicious comments. In the end, Stella graduated as an attorney while Sonja had become a medical practitioner. Jose offered Stella internship within his law firm.
some time later, Stella felt the need to search for her father, to everyone's shock Jose turned out to be her biological father. No one ever mentioned anything to Jose until the man passed on leaving Stella sizeable inheritance including his shares of the law firm. Boniswa inherited some of his enterprises while sharing profits with two other sons.
soon after Jose's passing, some people began making claims about moneys owed to them by Jose. no one knew until then how deep his involvement with shady criminals was. His sons were having to deal with shady but decent criminals who were demanding everything. one of them lost his wife to one of the criminals.
By then Stella had become a magistrate Her friend Sonja had her own clinic dealing with women issues while Nomsa was battling to keep her husband from messing around.
