Vampire's Best Friend

Lucy had been in love with her best friend, Viviane, for years, but she knew things couldn't work out between them. It wasn't a secret she was bi and liked girls just as well as boys, and Viviane obviously knew, the blonde simply never cared to say anything about her own preferences, leaving Lucy to wonder about it.

Not that it would change anything. Even if Viviane might come to like her like that it didn't change the fact Lucy had her secrets, and that her family would never allow her to be with the blonde. They liked Viviane, wouldn't allow Lucy to tell her what made them different, wouldn't allow the blonde to be like them.

They had a secret after all: they were werewolves. No matter how much Lucy wanted the other girl, she wouldn't force Viviane to become one of them.

Then Viviane's mother called her one night, worried for her daughter. The blonde was missing and didn't answer her phone, and Lucy knew something was wrong. It didn't take her long to track down the girl she liked, but by then everything had changed. She hadn't made Viviane a werewolf, wanting the blonde to have a normal life, but other beings had no such compunctions
