When Riikka finds a mysterious artifact in her pocket following a trip to a Viking gravesite, her best friend Lucy is convinced she stole it. After lighting a candle, Riikka has a closer look at the gold armband and finds she isn't home alone. Suddenly she's confronted by a ghost and the more she interacts with him, the more real he becomes. He's every Viking fantasy come true and she wants to bed him. The catchhe wants Riikka to commit to him for all time.
The rough-edged Viking Thorstein takes Riikka on a journey of second chances and hopes in the end she will choose to stay with himforever.

Second Saga

The Saga continues for Riikka as she finds fitting into Viking life and culture has its moments. Desperate to get a message back through time to her friend Lucy, Riikka visits a sorceress, but has no idea what events she puts in motion. Suddenly three messengers arrive at the settlement with news of plague, the threat of war and a demon. Life gets tossed like a ship in a storm as Riikka discovers things about her own past and her husband's as well.
When Thorstein sails off to Kvenland to deal with a demon, Riikka stows away against her husband's wishesher reckless action leaving him having to punish her for her disobedience or lose the respect and control of his crew.
Though her Viking has rough edges, Riikka knows that with his love and strength they can sail through anythingtogether.
