In my time as a Bible Class teacher, I have encountered people over the years who struggle to engage in prayer. They openly admit to not knowing what to say when asked to pray. They are not averse to prayer and would love to pray but don't know what to say when they pray.
Then there are those of us who engage in prayers that can best be described as obsolete or redundant because they are not based on the finished works of Christ Jesus.
In reality prayer is a conversation between the children of God and their Heavenly Father. It is not the "religious exercise" or complex communication that some have made it out to be. In this book I have sought to provide guidelines on how children of God can engage in meaningful conversation with their Heavenly Father based on the finished works of Christ.
Subsequently this book takes a beginners approach to the subject of prayer but remains relevant to people at all levels of the Christian faith. The book also provides insight into how a meaningful relationship with God can be established to facilitate desired responses to prayer.
