With wit and honesty, Elizabeth Baker describes what is was like to grow up and navigate through life with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, while attempting to explain many of the common symptoms of this brain damage that occurs when alcohol is consumed during pregnancy. Through laughter and sometimes tears, she is able to describe many of the issues faced by children and adults with this difficult diagnosis and perhaps enlighten parents and care givers about the many behaviors associated with it, while offering hope to both!
