Whispers of The Greybull

At his parents' funeral in 1937, twenty-two year-old Cole Morgan is offered a job by an old friend of this father, the foreman of the massive Greybull Ranch near Meeteetse, Wyoming. It's a chance to use his education and back-country skills and maybe find a new purpose to his life.

But there is little peace at the Greybull, where years of drought and misfortune are compounded by a precarious bank deal that could cripple the ranch. A seventy-year old mystery taunts them at every turn and even the toughest ranch hands speak uneasily of long-held secrets; a lost gold mine, a sinister presence, and even the ranch house itself has something to hide.

Cole knows his future may hinge on restoring the ranch to prosperity, even as he pursues answers for the savage death of his best friend. His investigation leads him to a startling clue that could help unravel the old secrets of the ranch, but natures's brutality and the dark forces at work will push Cole's courage and endurance to the edge as he struggles to save The Greybull.
