After sneaking away from home in the back of a Gnomish tinker's wagon, Fenn Farrow awakens to find herself lost and alone in a city far from home. But no one in the great city of Yarde has ever heard of her sleepy hometown of Wynne. And besides, they've got more pressing matters to worry about, for the once-safe streets are now being stalked by a mysterious devourer known only as the Beast. Fenn will do everything in her power to find her way back, but before she does, she'll have to survive.
