Life doesn¿t get any easier for Josie as Mr. Right proves to be Mr. Wrong, yet she fights on. When depression drives her to television for escape Josie gets addicted to a travel show where she manages to win a trip abroad¿to a locale she never dreamed of.

Born to the least of parents, Josie Mack manages to defy the odds and actually survive high school. While achieving a certain level of popularity through somewhat notorious notoriety during those school years she soon finds the real world far less accommodating. Suffering the loss of her best friend, Josie leaves her broken home in a heated rush. In order to make ends meet and in hopes of making her American Dream come true Josie marries Rex, the first boy pass her stringent husband tests. Naturally, like most men, he turns out to be a dog.

After a heartbreaking Halloween night Josie finds herself divorced. After numerous attempts at middle-aged dating she finds men are all still dogs. Since she can't flip a switch and turn gat, she chooses to escape her misery via the boob tube where she becomes addicted to a travel show, "The World on a Platter." During a play at home promotion Josie manages to do the impossible and win a free trip to an unknown exotic locale. Instead of getting Paris, Rome, London, or any other of a dozen dream vacations, Josie ends up finding out her destination is Oslo, Norway.
