Disappointed in her destination, having hoped for somewhere more exotic such as Paris, London, or Rome; Josie researches Oslo and Norway online trying to prepare herself for her big vacation.
Having never flown before she finds the experience far more tolerable intoxicated. Her fellow passengers do not.
If first impressions count, Josie finds Oslo far more modern and less chilly than she expected. Unfortunately the same can¿t be said for the first impression she leaves them; especially a gentleman she bumps into at the airport after discovering her luggage has gone missing. Still Harry, the man she is so horrible to, finds something undeniable magnetic about her.
Finding the city to be surprisingly clean and polite, Josie soon gets her hopes up for actually having fun on her vacation. Only catch is The World on a Platter¿s crew, who she is contracted to allow film her during her first week. Being on a limited budget and Oslo being a costly town, Josie resents her tag-alongs living it up on their expense accounts while she has to scrimp to get by. Still she snaps pictures of everything and dreams of things picking up once she¿s rid of her obligation.
As fate and destiny would have it, Josie once again bumps into good ole Harry from the airport; once again leaving another painful reminder of just what a klutz she can be. This time she fleas her encounter in shame. To save on taxi fare Josie decides to rent a bike for her ride back to her lodgings. Just when she gets to reliving her daredevil thrills of childhood she loses control and ends up causing a car wreck.
Waking up dazed and confused in the hospital Josie is riddled with guilt when she discovers the accident she caused involved, you guessed it, good ole Harry. Together the two broken winged love birds woo each other healing more than just broken bones during their hospital stay. Still the show must go on and Miss Elway and crew must get their footage.
Harry continues to shower Josie with all sorts of goodies as he tries to work up the nerve to show her exactly how he feels. Trouble is he¿s got a few secrets he¿s not ready to reveal, leaving Josie with little choice but read in-between the lines.
