"Da Vinci"tells us: Leonardo da Vinci, one of the three heroes in the Renaissance in Italy, is the most perfect representative of the European Renaissance. He is a painter, fabulist, sculptor, inventor, philosopher, musician, physician, biologists, geographers, construction engineers and military engineers. His genius, perhaps higher than others, which makes him became a representation in the Renaissance. Leonardo has often been described as the type of polymathes, a man who has the "unquenchable curiosity" and "feverishly inventive imagination". He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters so far and perhaps owns the most diverse talents. According to art historian Helen Gardner, the scope and depth of his interests were a precedent, "his mind and personality seem to as a superhuman, the man himself is mysterious and remote". Marco Rosci states that though there are many speculations about Leonardo, his vision of the world essentially is logical, not mysterious, and the empirical methods he employed were unusual in his time.
