His name and his great achievements in science exploration will be recorded in the history of the human civilization for ever. This greatest scientist is well-known Swedis chemist--Alfred Bernhard Nobel. Noble was born in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. His father devoted himself to the chemistry research; especially dynamite. Affected by his father, Noble showed tenacious and brave characters when he was a child. He often went to do the dynamite experiments with his father and spent his childhood in explosive sound. Nobel did not go to school until 8 years' old, but only for one year, this was the only normal school education he received. In order to let him learn more knowledge, in 1850 his father sent him abroad to study. He had been to Germany, France, Italy and U.S.A in 2 years. He accumulated plentiful knowledge fast due to his well observing and hard studying. Soon he became a scientist mastering multiple foreign languages. After returning to his country, Noble investigated many production process in factory practice work. He not only increased lots of practical technologies, but also got familiar with the production and the management in factory. After many frustrations, relying on his hard and persistent study, Noble gradually grew up to a scientist and inventor with no formal degree. Noble had so many inventions in his life and got 255 patents, including 129 dynamites patents. His inventing interests were not limited to dynamites, as a inventor and scientist, he had abundant imaginations and stong willpower. Nobel devoted his whole life to the science, he was never married and spent most of his time in the laboratory. He was modest and cautious, kind and loyal to others. He refused others to flatter him and disallowed newspapers to publish his pictures and portraits. Long-time intesive overwork made him vey sick, but the only thing he was concered about was his new dynamite research while he was dying. On December 12, 1896, this great scientist and inventor died from heart disease.
