Yehya, An American Dream, A Celebrity Insider

Meeting Yehya and hearing his story about how he made it in America and about all the celebrities he met and loves is an experience by itself. Yehya is a unique human being and a comic character himself, who has loved movies and stars ever since he was young. He dedicated his entire life to them, with a similar searing dedication of a Superhero constantly on a mission. He went from waiting long hours on the street to take photos with his favorite stars to being an in-house movie critic at the Jimmy Kimmel Show. His life changed one day when he met Jimmy Kimmel, because with Yehya's incredible Egyptian accent and his "no-filter" authentic humor, Jimmy invited him to be on his show. He is now a celebrity insider, often known as "The Egyptian", and he has never lost his passion to keep on taking photos with the people he admires.

But Yehya's story is also one of the American Dream, as an immigrant from Egypt who arrived in Los Angeles with nothing more than dreams, starting as a handy man, making many sacrifices, working hard, and dreaming about Hollywood ever since he was a child.

Author Alessandra Mattanza writes his touching and funny story, interviewing him about his life and his celebrity encounters, and all the artists he respects and admires so much. Inside this book are comics and many photos from around Los Angeles with Hollywood celebrities, along with Yehya's own practical guide on where and how to meet the stars, and his rules for how to behave with them. This book is created independently from the work of a team of artists and creative people, and everyone involved in the project will receive a percentage of the sales. The comics and the collage fine art cover are by the San Francisco based artists Jenna Forder and Ethen Luce.
