This is a book about sex.  This is a book about addiction.  And this is a book about sex addiction. Today in America, it is said that at least 6 percent of the population is addicted to sex.  A conservative number given that, it is one of the most under-reported and secretive addictions of all.  It is also one of the most violent, powerful, and difficult addictions to overcome.  The stories you are about to read are graphic by design to illustrate how and why these people got where they are.  My hope is that you're moved, disturbed, provoked, informed, and changed from this knowing.  And from this knowing, my hope is that you begin to understand the characteristics of sex addiction and become more compassionate.  It is my belief that only through understanding and compassion can we help those around us change.  May this help you, if you choose to be of service to those who are suffering from this disease. -- Nick Saint Clair.
