Set in a fictional Malawi, with a focus on the villages and not necessarily the country, Soul Air is the story of Shuu (a young orphan) and his path to becoming a full fledged guardian. In the ancient days the great Spirits sought to fight the dark forces that arose seeking world domination in both the Human world and the spiritual world. The great Spirits of Sapitwa created elements designed to help fight the dark spirits. However they needed vessels for the elements to be used to their full potential and thus the humans who needed protection were sought to be vessels in order to safeguard both worlds. The powers granted to the humans ensured defeat for the dark forces without completely annihilating the evil forces. Despite the victory both the humans and the great Spirits were aware that it was only a matter of time before the dark forces returned. With that in mind, a deal was struck between the Great Spirits of Sapitwa and the humans below. The humans kept the elements passed down each generation for use should the dark forces rise again. Shuu despite his status as an orphan is chosen alongside 3 others and theirs will be a journey into adulthood, discovering the joys of youth and bearing the weight of responsibility to protect the world. They are humanity's last hope for peace in the eternal fight against evil. Can they withstand the trials and tribulations that lie ahead?
