Eviction Notice is an ongoing practice, resurrected in poor and black neighborhoods throughout North America: whether it be twenty, thirty, forty years, or every half a century or more, it never fails. The ideological point of view set by those who precede at this herding of human beings throughout history with no remorse no longer shocks me. It's like turning on the television; it's a practice mimicked without thought, over and over again. Shunned is a class of citizens with rights that are dissected into red tape, ground up like red meat, processed with additives, eventually having any substance at all. Advising my children to keep a suitcase packed, because not even your neighborhood sits on solid ground, but an ever-shifting land mass not owned by you but the government.
